Approx. 24in x 10in, oil on stretched canvas. Dwarves, crafty litter buggers but not always the sharpest tools in the shed.

that is totally awesome!. i'd love to be able to use natural media like this. I can only agree the lighting is magnificent!. Unreal!

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "Thank you so much Marley! A wonderful complement coming from an excellent CG artist like yourself. Thanks for stopping by. "

What a beauty pic 1 I like a lot the colors. How do you get to imagine this marvelous scenes?? Nice... incredible work 12

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "Practice and time, time and practice. The waterfall is in an area where I sometimes hike. The Griffen toyed with the Dwarves for a short time than took off (with Dwarves in tow) before I could get a photo, but at least I got a few shots of the waterfall. ;-) Thanks again Karla."

DOGGONE DWARVES!!! *kicks dwarves away* Fly free, my friend, fly!!! *griffon bites my finger then flies off* Gah!! Ungrateful little **** *** ****** *** *** **!!! That´s what i get for helpin´...
Weee such prettiness! Your landscapes are so inspiring. This is one sort of landscape that would perfectly fit in one of my stories. Unfortunately i have no patience with landscapes...

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks for the fun comment, Laura. no need to be concerned, this is, after all. 'How NOT to Catch a Griffon ;-) The dwarves never had a chance. Oh! Griff says thanks and that was meant to be a 'love' bite, sorry. ;-)"

Great picture, full of life. That gryphon looks...tropical! Which makes it unique. *chuckle* Those poor dwarves really have their work cut out for them. Either they took on a far too daunting task, or they're just SHORT *snort* handed. Hee. Get it? SHORT. *chuckle* Okay, enough with the pun.

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "Yes, *chuckles* short handed 1 Hence the title ;-)"

wow this is amazing, i love how much detail you put into it.

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "Hay! How did I miss these comments? Sorry for the late response Sidnead. Thanks for the comment. I try to give my characters and creatures an environment to help bring them more to ’life’."

I agree with Jenna - that gryphie looks kinda tropical. I’m sure he will escape pretty soon, and take one or two of the dwarves with him!

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks for the comment Mie. But if anyone wants to see some nice looking Griffins and Dragons they should take a look at your work. 2"

i don’t think so imagine i’m a 5 grader his wings and body just about to my knee a little larger than my knee.i just heard from my griffin that your griffon on your picture is a rare coloration.

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "So yours must be newly hatched. How cute! Yes, this one is a more exotic breed. Some have pointed out (above) that he may be from somewhere in the tropics. Personally I think he is of a lineage from the ancient Assyrian Empire ... He gets around 2"
