Over mountain, valley, river To the setting of the sun Hear the sounds of sweet surrender Strings that call the wild one Hear her passion, music, splendor To the setting of the sun Magic sounds of wild wonder Tames the beast before it's done Vicious the young woman player To the setting of the sun Magic notes to slowly change her To become the wild one by Tony Orzech This is a character study for what will be a larger digital piece. The character is inspired by a talented friend of mine , Jenna, who is said to be, by her musical peers, a 'vicious' violinist. As an individual plays this enchanted violin, they will begin to change. The more they play, the more they change, until they can play no more. At which point they have fully changed but it is not known for how long. Maybe for the remainder of their life? Original ink drawing is 8.5 inches x 11 inches

Beautiful satyr. I love this drawing. 1

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks Anne, She is a bit Satyr looking, but she is turning into a wolf. Note the paws, not hooves ;-)"

superb picture. I can almost feel his music thorough his posture expression (it may also be because i was listening violin music on winamp while making this comment 16 )

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks again! Please let me know when you have some images in your gallery, I will stop by an give you a critique or two 1"

Forgot to comment on this. I saw it once and thought, ’wow, that’s nice’... How rude of me!

I really like the pose in this one, as well as the clothing. I can almost see her swaying back and forth to the the rhythm of her own music. Her wolf half is pretty good, too.

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks, Jennifer. I am happy that you took the time to stop back again. It is always nice to hear from you. I hope you took a good look at the setting and see just how simple it is. You don’t need to do a lot to give a character sketch a ’finished’ look. Even a rough sketch can look more complete with a few surrounding elements to ’ground’ it and give it a little more ’life’ and purpose. I would like to see more of that in your work ... yes, even your character sketches ;-)"

I can’t believe I’ve never commented on this one. 2 Of course, I love it--I especially love the clothing and the beautiful, original design on the violin. I just got back from my Christmas symphony concert--and don’t worry, I made sure the playing was vicious. 12 Lovely picture, again. Any piece you have used me as reference for really flatters me, you do such a great job. Best dang teacher I ever did have!

:-) Tony Orzech replies: "It’s About Time!!!! It only took you... what... over a year 12 Well, I guess that’s OK. You already told me you liked it 2 Thanks for the comment, Jenna. (And yur a dang fine student to be teacher to, fer sure. 12"
