SciFi and Fantasy Art Spirit Guide by Tony Orzech

Alessandra Ferraris (Gallery #742) and I did a sketch swap near the end of 2008. We each did a rough sketch, then we emailed them to each other. The idea for this exercise was to finish the sketch in our own way, with our own style, in what ever medium we wanted, making whatever changes or additions we wanted. And so, making the piece our own. I chose to do my piece as a digital image using Photoshop a WACOM BAMBOO tablet. Ale is also in my Favorites section so please check out her excellent art and see what she created from my rough sketch. I have Ale's permission to exhibit this piece as I choose. 2009

23 Jan 2009	Therese L. Davis	Loading... Wow, I can’t imagine how long this must have taken...the detail is staggering. I love the colors you chose and the ghost-wolf effect is very well done! There is a lot of depth in this picture and I think you protrayed that well with the different color schemes you used for each part of the landscape. I’ll have to take a look at hers too. Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks Therese. I normally keep track of how long it takes me to do a piece but I did this in so many bits and pieces of time that I lost count. 23 Jan 2009	Anne Wipf	Loading... A sci-fi picture is something inusual in your gallery. Or is it the use of Photoshop? I like it, especially the sky. Is Alessandra Ferraris the same Ale Lexie Ferraris who got a very well deserved Mod’s Choice today? Just a question, comparing your drawing and Tony’s picture, I cannot find any common sketch in them? Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks Anne and sorry about the mix-up.
