The Snow Queen is introducing one of her snowflake faeries to Rudy, who has a big red nose... you might say it glows.... ;) . A rough character study. I am doing it in full color,digital. The original is 11 inches X 14 inches, graphite and it took about 8+ hours from concept to completion.

She seems much more motherly than the two Snow Queens I know from stories (the Narnia one and Hans Christian-Anderson’s one).
