| 20 May 2006 | Naomi_Slverflame | Loading...heh...unicorn warrior. Reminds me of a scene in Lackey's "Fairy Godmother" where a set of unicorns (basically short on brains with a weakness for human virgins of the opposite gender) go into battle. What the Godmother council says to Elena afterwords--godmothers are NOT supposed to get directly involved "...You gave 3 unicorns entirely unsuitable ideas of a new vocation, so now we'll have to pair three of those Champions with the Unicorns, and heaven only knows how we'll manage to keep those boys virgins!" lol Anyway, love your art =^-^= Especially Deer Hunter, but that's partly 'cause I have a weakness for Anthro-taurs...or Anthro's at al for that mater. meh. =^-^= Tony Orzech replies: "Sounds like a fun story. I'm happy you like my stuff, Thanks Naomi!" | |
| 30 May 2006 | B. A. Makley | Loading...Wow, the waterfall in the background is REALLY good. Ad the rock... you're really good at backgrounds. =_= I tend to BS mine. xD Great job~! ^^ Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks Elizabeth! You know, time spent doing some drawing of actual rocks and plants and stuff is like 'BS'. A little can go a long ways ;-)" | |
| 1 Jun 2006 | Bianca Kaakschlief | Loading...It's really great! I think you ´have to work at horse anatomy, because here the head is to big and your pegasus looks not that right too. But (and it's a big BUT!), your landscape is so geourgous! You know so wellto work with oil and it looks very real. Lovely work! Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks Bianca! I will keep working on that horse anatomy. Maybe some day I will get it right " | |
| 21 Jun 2006 | Brittany 'Annabel' Nelson | Loading...Reminds me of a D20 prestige class called Order of the Unicorn. Anyway, I love the use of colour and the detail. Awesome pic. Tony Orzech replies: "Thank you Brittany! Not sure what game system your referring to but it sounds like a revised version of the original D&D. My generation helped to start D&D but I have not kept up with all of it's changes and the many off-shoot role playing games that have come (and gone) along the way. Sounds like an excellent Order though " | |
| 19 Sep 2006 | Karu Hernandez | Loading...I like the hole pic, but the unicorn is marvelous... *bows* Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks again Karla!" | |
| 15 Jul 2007 | Jayne Leonard | Loading...It's a great pic but why does the unicorn look so sad when it's warrior looks so confident? Tony Orzech replies: "I never thought of the unicorn as being sad, but more at piece and contented to be able to completely relax and rest without any fear from anything. He knows he is protected. (how is that for covering up the fact that I probably had a sad or sleepy horse reference and didn't notice the animal's emotional state at the time? ;-)." | |
| 2 Jan 2008 | Jenna 'Kaikisuka' Linn Barton | Loading...Great unicorn. Lovely unicorn. He looks just like that other one...on the picture with the centaur? Forgive me if the title escapes me! But it's great. He looks very calm, lying there with his warrior friend. Tony Orzech replies: "It could be the same one, just a lot older." | |
| 29 Nov 2008 | Mie 'Stormwing' Bendiksby | Loading...I think the unicorn’s head is a bit too long - and his mane looks a bit flat at the top of his head. Otherwise, this was very well done! I must say, I fell in love with the shield xD Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks for the observation, Mie. " | |
