	I started a new series: illuminated letters! I wonder how many of them I'll make?:)))

Wow, I love your illuminated letters, they are just wonderful! They must look great in some Celtic fairy tales book… may be you should suggest your artworks to some publishing house? 11 Nov 2002	Aleija Hampton	Loading... oops, ignore my comment left of the "O" You're already doing the letter thing. Very different! You could make them into a children's alphabet book. It would be much more appealing than "A for apple, B for book..." Natalie Touretsky (Gerie Aren) replies: "Maybe, maybe... "A for Alicorn, eatig an Apple" sounds more interesting for sure!)) But alphabet books for children use everyday and simple things on purpose: they seem to be easier to remember. (I guess they also don't want to attract children to fantasy from the very beginning. You know, those "first books" are sometimes are so sodden with moral and idiology!)"

I think it improves a lot the design. Natalie Touretsky (Gerie Aren) replies: "Thank you! Letting the animal exit the letter made the pattern more "relaxed" somehow. I don't know... Made it sort of more alive maybe"
