Pegasus in flight
Legs of the horse in the running step,
Behind the back lines open to wings,
As black as night of no star,
Reflecting the starlight like silver rings.
As great wings open and the air sings
As the feet leave the ground below,
Night sky opens to meet the beast,
The best dream I’ll ever know.
Look back, please, wait for me
You are flying so high, where to?
Into the magic of starry night
O, how I wish to go with you!
