The warrior of light
In times both bitter and bright,
Every day I choose – Light,
And Darkness, like ancient plague,
Always watching my back;
The anger stalks from behind,
Attempting to make me blind.
The ghosts are filling the dark,
But lit just a little spark,
And scattered they run in fright,
And lighter becomes the night!
And in the dark ripens – dawn,
And life is going on…
Whenever it’s joy or blight,
Every day I choose – Light.
