The other is my odd fascination with images made during times of sadness...often people don't hide anything when they're down. And the third is my soft spot for fairies (or any creature that can flay) with torn wings...perhaps for someone who is firmly rooted to the ground the only thing that seems worse is to be a creature of the air and be grounded by such an injury. artist's note: I accually remember what was going on when I did this, my friends were ditching out on me for a certain person I won't mention (they threatend my life the end of that year, I'm sure if I look I'd be able to find pics from that too), you pretty much nailed how I was feeling at that time, sad, like I couldn't do what I was supposed to (hence the torn wings, etc. | |
