	I thought it would be cool to do a fire mermaid, not that it was very probable. Just thought it would be different.

15 May 2004	Rikard Molander	Loading... Your ideas are better than mine! Not fair! Fire mermaid was imaginative, and really new... something which I have never seen before. The fire effect on the tail and hands is just... cool, and also is the fact that she has white hair and not red, which at least I would expect... Charissa R Carbone replies: "I wanted her hair to kind of be "icy" looking. I really wanted to draw a mermaid, but I didn't want to be generic. Thanks for the comments."

23 Aug 2005	Leonie van de Poppe	Loading... really nice I never saw a fire mermaid and in theorie it wouldnt be possible but in fantasy and on paper everything is possible good work Charissa R Carbone replies: "I thought it was an interesting idea. Fire able to live w/water. That and I didn't want to draw a regular mermaid like everyone else."
