This picture was actually based on a couple of my friends, who were dancing...it was so beautiful, I just had to draw it. :) Dancers do half the work for you, really, by just getting into those poses...it's so emotional...I love to watch them!

Beautiful work! The colors are rich and striking, while those poses are perfection. The characters look so natural, as if caught in a split second of their dance. You have incredible pencil technique.

:-) Elizabeth Beier replies: "Yay, thankyou! (hugs)"

This is very soulful. You can really just feel the emotion radiate off of the screen. I like the addition of wings as well. Usually when I draw my friends, I just make them elves, good for you for going the extra mile2 Awesome job!

:-) Elizabeth Beier replies: "Thank you. I had fun!"

Beautiful. As someone said up there, very very emotional ^_^

:-) Elizabeth Beier replies: "Yay, emotion was what I was going for!"

Love how bright the blue looks on her contrasted to the winged dood of Death. tee hee. Very nice.

12 Elizabeth Beier replies: "well thanks. contrast is always my friend."

Dood of death, huh? Or something... fun picture, and your friends are good dancers 2 I really like the contrast of their costumes, not just color but style, too!

31 Elizabeth Beier replies: "Thanks! Yes, my friends are very good at dancing. They just had a show, and it was great! I really want to be able to make my dresses exist, just like I draw them... and not have to pay for them..."

Wow! Its sooo good your incredibly talented....I envy you.

15 Elizabeth Beier replies: "Thank you. Surely you're good at some things too... maybe you're good at math, or singing, or running, or any of the millions of things like that which I'm completely hopeless at."
9 Jun 2005:-) Stephanie 'Pegacorna' Small
Wow! This is amazing! I can't believe you could do that pose. I love the contrast and the way the dress spills onto the floor!

:-) Elizabeth Beier replies: "Thanks! It would've been much harder to do the pose if I wasn't looking at some people doing it. Poses are always easier if you do them from life... strange, but true..."
