I did this as part of an art swap with Charlotte Grub (I've favourited her as a member, so use that link!). This is her character, Dustin.

Throughout this I have learnt so many new skills, it's unbelieveable (I reccomend that people do art swaps, they're great, they ensure that you do you're absolute best work - well for me anyway - so you don't let the other person down).

The magical, glowing feather is just to add more interest and because I was in a bit of a random mood, I'll let you decide what magical properties the feather has.

Interesting, and well done. I love the emotion coming through the wolf’s expression... not always easy to get a non-human to "emote" so much. As to the feather’s magical properties... I don’t think he even knows what it does. He has a "what the hell is that thing" look.

:-) Emma May Richardson replies: "I find emotions in wolves quite easy to convey, but I have spent virtually a year drawing nothing but. Thanks for the comment!!!"

Very pretty! I like the expression (My dog makes that face sometimes), and the glowy feather is a nice touch. ^.^
I agree about art trades, very fun!

:-) Emma May Richardson replies: "I love the expressions dogs make. Glad you like the feather."

This is a great pic, kinda looks like the freather@ leading the wolf somewhere. Now to go check out dustin......

:-) Emma May Richardson replies: "Who knows, maybe he is following a feather. 1 Thanx for commenting."

I luv the expression on his face! Luv the whole wolf, but the expression is my favorite. I like how you put good detail in the background. (I think that maybe when he was a child he had a friend that was a white raven, then the raven was killed fighting, but he keeps a feather to give him courage whenever he’s scared. Sounds stupid, but....)

:-) Emma May Richardson replies: "Thanks. Yeah, maybe that’s it - and it doesn’t sound stupid - but you’d have to ask Charlotte to know for sure."
