*sigh* I have been so busy, i;'ve only recently returned to elfwood to comment.
I rarely do work that fit's into the genre of fantasy.
You're EW page is gorgeus as usual, and although you have lost many lovely pieces, the pones you have left over still fill me with awe. The coulours hit me as soon as the page uploaded. Even if i have said it before, i will say it again: You have a gift for colour Trina.
Today, after having a proper look at your art for a long time; It's been lovely to see the diversity in your style of work, anime/manga, realism and perhaps even a touch of disney there.
I look forward to your next update, and I hope to return more often to your page to see further development.

Wow, the things you can find with google. I was drawn (excuse the pun) to your review of Toryn when searching for my sons name on the internet. Hey there from the SF area to the Daniel on the otherside of the country. BTW- love the art.

I really like your art style. You have created some lovely pictures. My favorite is Sleepy Head. I just might buy an art print in the very near future ( when my personal
financial situation gets better ). Great job!

I feel that since your art is mostly cute, Disney-like stuff, I don’t think you should feel ashamed or bad about drawing it while being a Christian. Just because something doesn’t nessasarily scream "Jesus," it doesn’t mean it’s against Him. It’s just neautral. Now as for liking Family Guy, there’s always forgiveness!

Trina Daniel replies: "Thanks for the encouragement, Aimee! I like my old work too, but wish I could incorporate more spirituality into new things I draw. As for Family guy, that comment was made 2 year ago about something I hadn’t updated on my profile from 5 years ago, and alot has changed since then. Forgiveness is sweet. God allows us all to be unique beings and have our own talents, and if that means drawing fairies, then more power to us for using our God-given talents."

Hey, I wasn’t expecting a reply, because it says you’re so busy, so thanks for replying!
Maybe if you want to put more spiritual things in your art, you could do some Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia drawings, that would be a way to put God in it without being too Godly that you might get some rude feedback. Or maybe just a lion in general. I remember a couple of years ago I was looking at Lion King fanart on another website, and the girl had a picture of Simba looking all sweet and it said, "when God created lion, He said it was good." Then there was another picture that had the Lion King characters looking at the baby Jesus (he was a human) in the Nativity. I loved that picture so much, I printed it out & hung it in my room! Anyway, lions, lambs, and doves are all creatures symbolic of Christ, so you could draw pictures of them. Frankly I don’t know why we can’t express our faith; This is America, we’re supossed to be able to do whatever we want!
