	My sketched version of a sphinx. I may use her as a character in a comic I'm developing.

7 Dec 2004	Jennifer Russo	Loading... I'm not really a fan of line drawings (it looks unfinished) and her body is very bulky and masculine--it doesn't match her head very well. However, this piece shows that you have a strong grip on perspective and feline anatomy, not to mention a desire to draw something that ISN'T a dragon or a unicorn. I think all us Elfwoodians are a little sick of the same old creatures repeated in every gallery. This sphinx is a refreshing new twist. Katrina Marie French replies: "Yeah, I like to draw original things from time to time. I know that the head doesn't match but it was the first Sphinx I drew and I admit that it does look odd. Thanks for the comment!"
