| 26 Sep 2004 | Manuela P. Forst | I believe that the face of a person shows his or her personality - so your drawings are simply free of any personality and I think that's sad. Trine Larsen replies: "I suppose... Though, I like doing my work faceless. I'm not yet very good at making faces, so that'll have to wait a bit, but until then they'll have to remain blank. :|" | |
| 26 Sep 2004 | Karen Vande Casteele | I agree with the other elfwood artists ;p | |
| 6 Dec 2004 | Lesley Burt | I disagree with Manuela.
From my experience, it is the person's posture and movements which show their personality. Most of my sketches involve people who aren't even looking in my direction, and yet I manage to portray their personality; a face is most often used to show emotion.
Awesome gallery! | |
| 28 May 2005 | Anime artist75 | Nice work im no a nude artist but I very much respect your work so keep it up the good work the woods love ya | |
| 13 Sep 2005 | Stephanie M. Riley | I also agree with Manuela. I have purposely left faces off of my figures before because it ADDED personality and emotion/feeling to the piece. I like what I see here! The pieces you have posted are great-especially the body-study aspects of them. Great job, and keep up the practice! Thanks for stopping by my galler, too! | |
