Hara-Kiri is a traditional Japanese way of commiting suicide. The people wanting to commit suicide do it publicly, using a dagger as the suicide weapon. This drawing shows the victom (man in brown) standing in front of the emperor, ready to confess his sins.

Trista-san your guide is good!
And Hara-Kiri sometimes means one of protestant performance.
Hara-Kiri have a honour resolve to guilty.
Samurai does not like to kill by any unknown person.
So they wanted to kill by oneself!
