this is a request right off the Elfwood boards. You'll see me there once in a while. I really like how the colored pencil work turned out. Plus I think the photoshop background adds the right touch.

Well, I think that colored pencils and CG work okay together...The feathers are awesome here - okay I take back my other comment, you do know how to draw feathery wings!

That's really beautiful! I like the colors, nicely chosen! The pose is also well done, but the thing that bugs me is, that cg and colored pencils don't mix well, in my humble opinion, but it's your decision, you have to choose what you like best! Oh, and I like the tuft on the end of the tail 2

oooooh *awe* i like! I like how the sun is filtering through the feathers, although the tail does look kind of funny...

Ahhhh... Someone has been studying her color physics. Isn't it amazing how well a simple rainbow color scheme works for bird feathers? (The macaw nods its head at me.) Gorgeous griffy. I really like that feline pose it has. That simple, elegant sun and sky in the background were a wise addition, as well. It helps hold the composition together.

Outstanding! I actually like how the tail turned out. The positioning and pose of the gryphon works wonders as the illuminating lighting effects blend into the spectacular wings. The beak could use more dimension....
But yes, some of your more consentrated work, I can tell you worked hard at getting the glare effect for the north- east touch perfected down. Well done! See ya at school Jess! Blessed Be!
