SciFi and Fantasy Art we fly to istanbul by Jessica Jean Tschampa

Finally I have a name for my arabia pictures. It is in Istanmbul, Turkey and is called Blue Mosque. This is the third time my imagination has visited this place for a painting. Someone in my painting class was reading an article about islam and Bam there it was spread across two pages. So I am determined to visit there, but for now my imagination dances across the sky. This was the largest of my works 42'X 60' and now resides on my basement wall. You have arrived at Blue Mosque of Istambul where a breed of hybrids rule the skies. Not quite the western variety and yet they bare similarities with the eastern type. They fly in a dance calling down the rain.

8 Sep 2005	Synnoeve 'Claws' Stockinger	Loading... Do you mean Istanbul, or is it supposed to be Istambul? I like the lighting in this. It reminds me of how the Sun sometimes shines just before a thunderstorm, which suits these dragons, as they're bringing rain.

Hi, I am glad we dont see those dragon things above us here in Istanbul I especially liked the sky the only problem is that Turkiye is not in Arabia so I didnt understand your description of the picture but I am ashamed I never went to visit that mosque though it only takes for me to go there at most an hour and you visited for 3 times in your imagination

The howl atmosfeer has something magical. The hotel wer we slep was right in front of the blue mosk. Every night i went to the roof and watcht the sun set by the blue mosk....woow...
