A young angel finds that while she spends all her time looking into the mirror, the mirror takes on a life all its own and in the end, becomes her only friend... I fixed a few things and reposted in hopes to get a Mod's Choice. I think it looks much better personally. Done with pencils, tell me what you think!!!

This is your most realistic looking piece yet. Not only do I love her pose and the subject matter, but that is something that has always appealed to me personally (just my own style). Her eyes is where the main difference lies, I think. You did a really awesome job with this one, I would've loved to have seen it gotten Mod's Choice, too. 2

Oh god, so beautiful. I really love the storyline too. Very deep. I really am a big fan of your work, it's very detailed yet not meticulously so that it's not art. It's lovely really.

space is so confusing in this drawing.....the hair and the wing feathers are a flat, cross hatching of contour lines. It has the depth of a Celtic knot.

Hi, Nathan. It's Thanna, you might not remember me because owing to the travails of life I was unable to get online much for a Very long time. I used to comment on your pictures alot, though, and loved them enough I came back when I got a chance.
I agree the picture is sharper, crisper with the black and white, which gives it more of a punch than the bluish, origional posting that gave more of a dreamy air to it. I'd so love to see this colored.--Almost as much as I'd like to see the moderater's wake up and realize this is an exceptional piece!

Nathan this is exquisite... you have captured the innocence becoming caught up in the sin of pride and vanity! VERY well done and your pencil work is lovely. This work stays true to what little we know about angels and gets to the heart of the legends. There is a great deal of jealousy it appears in previous comments but that too should let you know what a lovely job you have done! KUDOS!
