SciFi and Fantasy Art Arthur in Glass by Timothy R. Wollweber


	A piece I did for class, this one shows the legend of King Arthur as done in a stained glass window. I tried to keep it bright and flat as some stained glass windows I had seen before. Brush inked, acrylic painted, and detailed with colored pencil on art board.

3 Feb 2003	Iris Proudfoot	Loading... Let me guess what is in the picture, which, by the way, had stunning colors. Really nice. OK, anyway, Arthur and Guenivere in the center. Lancelot in the left top corner and Merlin in the right. Then on the bottom Morgan le Fay and Mordrid (I think, though it could be Niniane). A the bottom the round table. On the left side the sword in the stoen (duh). And at the very top is the Holy Grail. I especially like excalibar and the lady of the lake on the right. You sure know your legends. And it really looks like a piece of stained glass. Or am I just stupid and it is stained glass? Anyway, you should make a real one and put it in your room!

31 Dec 2003	Heather	Loading... Bravo on a good piece! Especially in the top-most area with the grail, the stained-glass style seems very appropriate and it really works for the piece. However, you've made such vibrant, detailed characters that as a whole, your piece hardly seems to be stained glass. Beautiful nevertheless though
