Just a working title for now, but Castle Mourn here is the headquarters of the Darkness-possessed wizard and his undead right hand man, Lord Khaile. I wanted to get a feeling of bleakness and agony to the place... Done with pencil on board.

Nice castle. Very creative. It just oozes bleakness and agony2

Most definitely -not- on my list of places to visit. *Strikes Castle Mourn from the list* ..Wow. I do want to see this scene coloured and finished, however..

creepy.... but in a good way.... the sense of proportion is off, tho (that might not be the right word)--unless it's a lot farther from the guard in front than it looks, or unless he's a lot taller than a human, this doesn't look like a big castle, and you'd kind of expect the villain's hq to be this big foreboding place. that said, it's still really creepy and well-drawn, and i'd certainly steer clear of it.

hey, thats pretty cool. onnly thing id say the castle itsef lloks alittle small, would maybe look more intimidating if it reachhhed higher into the sky and took up more of the background, you know? and a maot would be cool1

This is a great piece! I think you're a very talented artist. It took me a while to notice that the boulder (...I think it's a boulder...)is in the shape of a skull. Very cool. Thar definitely adds some agony to the place. 2

Eee, lookit that skull... I had to do a double-take with that. People are right though, the castle does seem a bit little, really the easiest way to solve that would have been to make that man smaller-- he just kind of throws the scole of it out of whack. See, the trick to drawing buildings is not to have any living figures around it so people can guess how big it is. Lol, and with a spooky castle everyone will assume it's huge! I love the wall, though, like the Great Wall of China, neh? Mwaha. =) Kudos on that sun as well. Or should I say moon...

This is amazing. I love the shape of the skull/rock. The gargoyale is a nice touch too. The circular shape of the towers is rendered perfectly. Tell me how you did it? Anyway, a very cool piece of work.

I really like your lines on this. They are clear and they really accent the shading in this one. The concept is an interesting one also. I'v seen castles in the shape of a skull but not a castle built around a skull shape. Really neat.

I like the skull thing the tower is set into. It's cliche, but you've managed to pull it off. The gargoyal in the corner is very funky. I think there's too much light though. Castles belonging to the bad guy should be hidden away, so they're all dark. Hmm, maybe that's just TOO cliche. Anyway, I think it's a great drawing.
