This here is just a few sketches of some of the different races on Galeia. I wanted to try to draw different looking female faces and expressions as well. Clockwise from top left they are human, drahl elf (drow to most of you - drahl means 'dark' or 'bad child' in Elvish on Galeia), a fae or a human (don't know which), a quetzan, and finally an aquatic race that I have yet to name... maybe aqualin? I don't know yet...

I've told you before, and I'll say it again, "I really dig these faces, Tim!" I can't wait to see the races get fully developed. I agree with Ashen, too. The wet hair looks fantastic, and the elf ears are perfect the way they are. If elves are a race of the forest, then their ears would need to be much more developed to hear twigs snapping and thus, larger. I'm not so sure that you're drawings look specifically Disney-esque. I think they fit into the style of ALL animation in general. Keep it up, and I hope you post more drawings like these!

I really like the way you work with color-pencils instead of graphite-pencils, it's some how more alive..

This is a a very interesting picture.
I'm glad that you decided to illustrate the definitions of these races.
I notice that one commenter said the Quetzan and the wavy-haired girl unamed both look human, but I dont agree with that person. Upon looking closely, I found that there is a lot of different in their jawbone. For instance, the dark elf's chin is much more pointed than the human, and her cheekbones thinner. And then well, plus the ears. The Quetzan (is that right?) seem to be a more strong boned race, because the Quetzan woman's chin is similiar to human but she seems to have stronger thicker bones. And since you can't see her ears, her ears may be different.
My suggestion is that you make an individual full-body sketch of each race. Make one full-body sketch of the human, one full-body sketch of the dark elf, etc. All full-body sketches of that person of that particular race standing up (other then the aqua-girl, if she has fins).
I think that the name aqualin is a good name for her, or she could just be a mermaid.
If you don't want to draw full-body pics of them all, please at least draw a full-body pic of the aqua-girl, because lots of people seem to really like her and she's my favorite too. It's real neat that you managed to make her hair look wet.
This picture is awesome. I like the way you used only one color. They are all really cool and have fabulous hair (I have a thing for hair).
Oh, Pardon me, I have probably taken up much space, so sorry, its a bad habit of mine.
Good luck, I hope you draw the aqua-girl more!
Or maybe you could draw her (full-body) and just send the pic to me in an email?
I'd be grateful if you could do that.
Excellent races here.

great face study! I love how you put effort into making each one unique: different cheek bones, noses, hair, eyes, eyebrows, etc. Curious that all of your females are equally attractive though! Ha well. In a perfect world, I guess. It would be awesome to see full-body sketches of them all so you could see more cultural differences between them, in their attire and whatnot. My favorite is probably the girl in the bottom right corner. 2

I think the face with the fins and scales would be a mermaid...... good job!
