  | Samus Aran from the Metroid game series by Nintendo. Differing Samus's usual orange-red-green suit design. I decided to do it based on her lack of a blue-based suit. I used a lot of different media including ink, pastel, and crayon as well as colored pencils. The reason for that is the necessity of using a more additive medium in certain instances (such as pencil) when lightening was necessary. The darkest parts were done over the top, last, with a permanent brush marker.
