"The Legend of Zelda: From His Scaly Maw" by Ty Scheuerman

This image is another collaborative between Cuccolady (see her gallery at http://cuccolady.deviantart.com/) and myself.  The initial lines for the Zora were all hers, I completed additional lines and did all the background and coloring/shading.  I have full permission from Cuccolady, the collaborator, to post this image on Elfwood.

The subject is a Zora, aka "River Zora", aka "Zola" from the earlier and 2-dimensional Legend of Zelda games.  He is a swamp-monster or mer-man, however you want to look at it, capable of launching firey projectiles from his gaping mouth.  We chose the classic Zora as opposed to the friendly Zoras from the 3-dimensional games, because I and CL feel they are underappreciated.  Show the vicious water-monsters some love, people!
