Tag As FavoriteComment		Acrylic painting wasn't going so well, and after a week or so I finally screamed 'ENOUGH! I'm a digital artist, goddamnit!' and flung myself at the computer. Seven frenzied and caffienated hours later, I came up with...the tribal wombat. This brings the total of anthro wombat paintings in the world up to...err...I have no idea, but probably less than a dozen. Anyway, painting realism always makes me feel better when I'm down, and having finally gotten over my aversion to painting grass, some years after that blasted kirin painting--lo! There was grass, and it was grassy.

He is awesome! I like the aborigini style, very fitting for such an overtly Australian animal. I wonder what the feather necklace means to him, has he just found it or is it his? If so, is it some sort of charm? I also like the platypus looking at him from the river! OMG perhaps it’s the platypus’ feather!
