I made a very similar project in Art class, but my poor dragon's head and neck was so heavy that they melted down into the pot itself during the baking process, so it ended up looking like he's "drinking" out of the vase. I can fully empathize with you on the wings, for I had the exact same problem as well (I actually had to super-glue mine back on in order for it to all work out). Still, proud as I am of my own piece, it really is nothing compared to your wonderful exhibition. I particularly like all of the intricacies associated with the head, but credit must also be given to you for the great articulation in the wings, as well as all those tiny scales (which must have taken ages!). All in all, given my own --cough-- "experience" in the subject of clay, I must say that, after seeing this, I can refer to you as nothing short of a master of the medium. -{Bows down before you}- | |
