| 19 Jul 2007 | Zachary M. Wojnar | Loading...Well, don't we all envy the newcomer to the art world who has already surpassed many of us in talent...j/k I love your work, and a even more impressed that it's all done traditionally. I've always liked traditional art over CG. | |

Don't want to advertise but if you want to try painter, try artrage 2, there is a free version and a pay version (pretty cheap). It might be good enough until you can afford painter.
The Traditional vs Digital argument is old and tired. Its not just the media (maybe) its the training (composition/art and color theory, etc). Having the tools (Digital/Traditional) does not mean you will make a good picture. Its all up to the artist's knowledge and skill.
Apologies if this is overkill, been to too many digital vs traditional threads. Welcome to the Woods. | |

Funny you should mention traditional vs. CG cause I just purchased a waccom tablet yesterday to try my hand at CG.
But I will still make them traditionally first.
and thank you : ) | |
| 21 Jul 2007 | Valarie R. K. Wade | Loading...I can understand that. I know I tired digital before and it was ok...but not blow your mind fabulous like I would have loved it to be. I fully understand it's the training. : ) To start with I will be tweaking my already painted and scanned art to try and learn the basics.
I love both aspects of traditional and digital, that's why I thought I would give both a chance hehe, cause I personally can't decide between the two.
