*Update* Stress is back again! Decided to upload bigger/better version of this here pict.
I have been very stressed out lately, and I finally decided to get this picture-concept on paper. Hawk, my character, who is an Avian, in lieu of being so confronted by issues and stress, has went to the Caves of the Time to be put into a pseudo hibernation for about three weeks. The caretakers of the Caves are a race known as the Sharsbaks. They put Hawk into a cocoon and wished her/me happy dreams for the next few weeks.

15 Feb 2003	John	Loading... First comment dance Well, the idea of an eagle inside a cocoon is strange, but I like the way you visualized it. I wonder if you put him into this cocoon because you were too lazy to draw the rest of him ? (sorry if I was wrong) No matter what your idea was, I love your style and I think it's one of the few pictures on Elfwood that actually look like real ART. Anna 'NightHawk' Schenk replies: "The cacoon was symbolism for how nice it would be to have some time to myself, to straighten out my thoughts, since in college, there never seems to be much of a breather between big projects, tests, exams, whatever it may be. Just to be alone to have time to recoop, would be nice. This style of art is kinda an experiment and I may try one or two more like this. I drew this pict on the back of my mathnote book so that is why it has that texture to it."
2 Mar 2003	Kate WeatherWolf* Auchmoody*	Loading... I've got sommat like this as far as feelings go. The is one of the most unique things i've ever seen in the world. Really, the concept is very good, one that lots can relate to. It's really nice, Nighthawk. Anna 'NightHawk' Schenk replies: "Thanks, WeatherWolf! By the way, very cool name. =) I fidgeted with this idea so many times from the concept of helplessness to that of peace, and it took a week of insanity for me to finally draw it out. I'm glad you like it; I try to be original - griffins and other such creatures have been done to overkill and it's wonderful when new ideas come out. "
