	Red Maggots were discovered on the planet Gamma Darius and can be equated to rats in some ways. Before Terrans came to the Red Maggot's world, their population was manageable. Now they breed in untold numbers, eating anything metallic Terrans have constructed. These 'maggots' are not like fly maggots and never pupate into a flying form.
