Tag As FavoriteComment		Reaver reformed with fluid ease into his mirror shape. The blue flame flickered beside him, its colour bringing the memory of the cloudless sky into sharp recollection. Soon he would be free of Rhythwyn'lan, free of the eternal twilight of the vampire's domain. Reaver smiled to himself in contemplation as the opalescant light shifted over his display surface... ((This is another part of the picture that the Rhyth pic comes from. If you look closely, you can see the edge of Rhyth's carved wooden chair at the right hand edge of the picture. There are other characters in the main pic, but so far I haven't had a chance to tidy them up and scan them...))

My God, the light! How DID you do it? What technique did you use (and - don't laugh - but what is a Daler board)?

Sunfall - The original painting was done on a rough textured board with a paint-ready finish - Dalerboard is a brand of paint board used as an alternative to canvas, good for oils, acrylics...pretty much anything. Most of my pictures are done in pencil and acrylics first, then I scan them and use photoplus (paint program) to tidy up any rough edges and add light or transparency effects. Glad you like ~grins~
