Heh... lens flare debate.. the pic was a simple illustration for a roleplay I was part of on a Harry Potter fan site. They were admittedly an afterthought, and in hindsight, I wish I'd futzed with them a bit.. made them blue to match the flamework elsewhere on the pic, but... ooh... the world of meh. It was just a pic for an rp... two hours work, if that.
As for the 'subtitle' which the descriptive text could hardly be called, I couldn't care much less if no one read it, but if anyone wants to read the whole story, the site it's posted at is:
The story is called A New Arrival, and is sited in the mirror of erised board. Good luck with that, as the whole story runs to more than 400 posts.

I think people just argue about the lens flare because it makes them look like photoshop gods. The picture isn't all that great. No offense. Not my taste.

Hey...this guy looks somewhat familiar...do I know him?
You did wonderfully on the hair here, BTW...but I have to say that the detailing on everything else sort of up-stages him...^^; Still, it's all wonderful looking--I'd be jealous that you do better backgrounds than me if I wasn't so background-deficient that it makes no difference...
I especially liked the stones, the pentagrams on the stones, the mossy ground, and the leaves. Great use of the lens-flare tool as well

In opposition to the cliche'comment about cliches'above, I really like it, reminds me of when I visited Brittany, at Carnac. Very cool...

You know Dee, you should stop using the word cliche... it's starting to get up my nostrils...

I like it. Yes, the lens flares look out of place but for two hours of work it's great. I really like the color palette. ^^
