SciFi and Fantasy Art Walker´s sketchbook. by Ali Solenarian Van Dam

Walker screamed, just once, before the book overwhelmed him, and his expression became blank. He sat, docile and patient, the pencil held slackly in his left hand. Soon the garden would be busy, full of potential subjects. The book whispered to him in its sickly, sibilant whisper, alternately cajoling and commanding and his unresisting hands turned to a blank page while his mind writhed and shrieked in terror in the dark place where the book had sent it.
