"Bill, The Last Dragon: 2003" by Vanessa Skye Galloway

This was drawn for a math project I did on parabolas. The story is: 'This parabola graphs the final flight of the last known dragon. The dragon, named Bill, had taken off in flight from his cave that was 10 ft. off of the ground. While still gliding smoothly upward, Bill passed over a castle. In the tallest tower of the castle, 100ft. off of the ground, was a skilled archer. The archer shot an arrow and hit Bill. Bill was able to glide himself to the gorund where he died. At what time and height was Bill hit?' And the answer is 'Bill was hit 400 ft., 7 1/2 inches off of the ground, 12 min. and 30 secs. after leaving his home.'

Ok, this was like, Junior in highschool math...darn, but its been a long time.  I'm old now ;_;
