SciFi and Fantasy Art Electric Dance: 2003 by Vanessa Skye Galloway

Well, I came up with some crazy idea that Mer-people should come from all speices of water creatures. Then along came these electric eel people, who decided to boogie on down with thier intriging undersea dance. [UPDATE 1/1/04:Whoot! well, the original was too large for my scanner, so for a long time it had two different color panels going on and it really looked...not good. But now, thanks to too much free time and OpenCanvas, I think I've managed to clear up the color problems! YAY]

Update 9/07: Dang, OpenCanvas, I can't belive that's still my only computer art tool....

The scanner thing is unfortunate, but sometimes you just have to deal with evil machinery. growls Amazing job, it's perfect as it is (and believe me, I don't often leave THAT as a comment!).

6 Jun 2004	Anonymous	Loading... This is amazing, I have seen a good many mer-people drawings, but none quite like this. It looks like the coloring would take a while, did it? I'm an amateur at drawing still, but love to see good works of art. Totally gorgeous.
