SciFi and Fantasy Art Let´s Try something NEW! 2003 by Vanessa Skye Galloway

Questioning the lower-left gargoyle, eh? Well, this picture came about because when I was designing my gargoyle costume, I thought “what better place to be inspired than Elfwood” and to my dismay, I found that nearly every gargoyle picture here at the time were very much Disney-esque uncreative mush. I found 125 female gargoyle pictures here, and I tell you, at LEAST 83% of ALL of those gargoyles were wearing a Midriff and cleavage bearing lace-up top or a halter top, and an overly large belt with a LOIN CLOTH X_x Now, while I do enjoy the Disney cartoon “Gargoyles” very much, I expected more diversity here in the woods. So that’s when I came up with my gargoyle design (and I threw that dumb looking one on the bottom just because I was mad :P)

1 May 2007	Caroline O. Berg	Loading... Oooo... social commentaries are SO much FUN!!! Huzzah for your bravery! Now... I have always wondered why gargoyles don't, you know, wear pants/shorts/skorts/bikini bottoms... something that won't reveal ALL while flying (like a loin cloth/slit skirt would.) But that's just me. Perhaps it works for them? Who knows... but at least YOUR gargoyle doesn't have to deal with that particular problem ^_^ (Oh, and your response to "Forest Elf" was perfect! It really made me laugh. Perhaps more people should pay attention to grammar, or at the very least, what they write.)
