The lights on the bottom are small directional thrusters. So instead of a direct force forward, the movement of this ship is more of a hover. If the ship needs to move forward, the 360 degree pivital thrusters just face backwards--you might point out that the ship would then travel up and not down... however because this ship is designed for planetary defense and interaction, it is an orbital spacecraft and the gravitational force balances out with the lack of reverse thrusters on the top.." | |
