I like the swirl effect of the red circle because there is a feeling of motion there. The heavy paint strokes are cool too, I love painting like that. This does have an Impressionistic look to it. Good job, I’m tagging it. John R. McCoy replies: "thank you very much, John! =] I thought it was good too, but im glad u pointed out wat u liked about it too...ah well u usually tend to do that! =]"

This is almost like an eye... creepy... Crent? John R. McCoy replies: "if I explained it might ruin its mysterious essence >] "
| 18 Jul 2008 | Robyn *Copperhead* Lee | Loading...I like the feel of depth it has to it. It has sort of a cold feel to it...like it’s sun isn’t very warm. And yes....on the verge of being repetitive here...It does have a Van Gogh touch to it. But, to be honest? I like this WAY better than Van Gogh. John R. McCoy replies: "oh thank you so much for your comments! =]" | |
| 27 Aug 2009 | Tom Draco Noir Taylor | Loading...Good work John! Some of the plants? remind me of some of the weird cacti we see here in arizona. One kinda looks like a Boojum tree- I cant describe it, but you can google it and see what i mean. Then again, maybe those aren’t plants- those are the Aliens! John R. McCoy replies: "The dark patch and the points u are referring to are alien forests. And yes they did remind me of cacti like plants after I had painted them. thank you" | |
