Tag As FavoriteComment		The harpie has always loved that man attached to the giant sword. He didn't return her feelings and so she sought revenge. She broke his wings and chained him up to that giant sword and she attacks anyone who comes near her beloved, her... pet. And there he shall stay, stuck where only the harpie can get to him, until he he tells her that he loves her.

How I started drawing this is quite interesting itself. I wanted to draw one day but I didn't know what. All of my stuff sucked that day so I decided, 'I might as well practice my wings,' so I drew folded, feathery wings. Then out-streched wings. I then noticed, 'Hey, I can put a body on this! I KNOW WHAT TO DRAW!' and away I went. I could've done better on the harpie, but she's my first harpie ever!

Ouch, never disappoint a harpy! Although I guess that's not the way she'll make him love her...
From the artistic point of view I think this is your best work yet, especially his body is very well done. I'm glad you found something to draw 1

:-) Stephanie E. Riley replies: "Yes, avoid harpies at all costs! I agree with this being my best. When I was done, I was like, "This can't be my work, it's beyond my abilities." I guess I saw it in my head well enough to draw it well."

Lost love and revenge... How sweet! Your pictures have improved and have seemed to have loaded better. Keep drawing the way you are, its very original. Also watch out on your shading. May the darkness consume and the Dark One rule!!!!!

7 Stephanie E. Riley replies: "Thanks much! Yeah, the shading bugged me, but I did fix it. I'm gonna reload it sooner or later. It's the first time someone said my pic is sweet... but SOMEONE'S bound to agree with me, like you! I know the Dark One and he shall arrive soon enough..."

A lot of my pictures start the same way you describe. It's funny how those can come out the best sometimes! 2

I love this pic's emotion! And how it's evocative of the crucifixion, but without being religious. I say you did a super job! Your description story is great too! Awesome work, Stephanie! 2

:-) Stephanie E. Riley replies: "You bet it's painful, I mean, he's hanging by his broken wings. If he said that he loved her, the pain would stop, but he doesn't love her. I really don't know what he's going to do about it..."
