SciFi and Fantasy Art Jax by Stephanie E. Riley

Jax is a character from a series of books that I'm writing. Unfortunatly, I haven't written anything latley. I'm not entirely sure what to call Jax. I mean, at some point, she was human but her father (he's a wizard) wanted to try a new spell and Jax agreed to be a guinie pig. The spell turned out to be a sucess but she wanted to see what it was like to be a snake person. She left for awhile but when she returned, her home was destroyed and the evil king, Konwar, was there. Konwar decided to give Jax a demon eye (covered by her hair) and left her. The bandana she wears compresses her powers and keeps her from turning into a visious scorpion thing. Of all the things she lost, she misses her younger brother the most.

5 Sep 2005	Rhiannon C. Piper 'Daggermaiden'	Loading... Aww such a awful life she has had! So imaginative, you should get a wyvern gallery hmmm what sort of snake is she supposed to be?? I think it would look better if you lengthened the tail because at the moment she looks a little unsteady, her torso is to top heavy for the tail she has! But its just a suggestion Stephanie E. Riley replies: "Yeah, I suppose I ought to lengthen the tail. I have many other picture ideas for her so I could fix it there.I have no idea what kind of snake she is, she came to me this way... aside from the short tail."
6 Sep 2005	Moonshine	Loading... Haha pretty background. Jax is so cool. thta is probably my favorite thing about this picture is the background.I wish I could draw like you. I can't even draw a line without having to re draw it. Stephanie E. Riley replies: "I'm glad you like the BG. When I draw, I draw many lines to form one big one. It really works and it's easy to erase!"
7 Sep 2005	Astarael of the Darkness	Loading... Good. I agree on the whole tail is not long enough to support her weight but other than that it is an interesting piece. May the Dark One rule all. Stephanie E. Riley replies: "Thanks much for the comment!"
9 Sep 2005	Richard H. Patton	Loading... You write really great stories for your pictures, Stephanie! She is very interesting. The background seems to represent the chaos of the life she's had. Poor thing! Wonderful colors! What do you call that weapon on her wrist? Jax seems like a great character! Stephanie E. Riley replies: "That weapon is... hmm, I'm gonna go with an assassain's scythe. (She's an ex-assassain you know) I like the bright background, it keeps it from being too depressing and she's a nice a person. I'm glad you like Jax!"
