Let's see, where to begin on this one... well, my mom had gotten me a 'watercolor-colored-pencil' kit and I thought that I should try them out. This was my test project with this new medium and I also used the original watercolors as well. This took around two hours of my free time. The girl is, I guess, another version of me. She's a wanderer kind of person who has arrived in a large, grassy area with a stone pillar in it. She climbed to the top to see what could await her on her travels, and she loves the sight of it. She likes it so much in fact, that she'd rather stay there for awhile, and not ruin the beauty by going near it, for things that look beautiful from a distance, aren't always as pretty up close.

Three notes here: 1:) The sleeves are supposed to be darker than the jacket itself, 2:) The symbol on her face is just a distorted star, and 3:) The colored blotches are supposed to be flower bundels growing in the grass.

*First coment dance* Total awesomeness. The picture seems like there is a magical, mysterious, mythical (0-o lots of m's) undertone to it

Whats that thing on her cheek did she get slapt by an alian with 2 fingers at the end of its hand? Or is it a birth mark or something and how did she get on that rock?

:-) Stephanie E. Riley replies: "On her face, is a star tatoo... and how she got on the rock I shall never know..."

how did you end up liking the watercolors?

:-) Stephanie E. Riley replies: "Some things look better from far away... and other times they play tricks on your mind! @.@
Watercolors just aren’t really for me... I’ll need get some better paper or something before I try them again *still has them lying in some box*
