	Painted this in a hotel after a rough night. I like creepy things. 2 hours, watercolor.

26 Apr 2006	Artheryn	Loading... Scary - disturbing - mental - very well done! It's that kind of picture which might haunt you in nightmares. The old ghosts, like zombies, skellies, orcs and what-not, are not so scary anymore - but this is different, just can't pin-point it. I think it is her expression and the anorectic quality that hints at a seriously shattered soul, perhaps schizophrenia - something "within" rather than "outside"; like "beware, it might be you..." The picture also slightly reminds me of "The Scream" by Edward Munch (Norwegian painter, late 19:th - early 20:th century) which has a similar "mental" qality.

I saw the first 5 seconds of the adds for Rogue (that movie where the girl is being haunted by her brother twin who died in the womb with her) and now, a week later, i’m still too scared to go up the other end of my own house on my own. I get TERRIFIED very easily.
