SciFi and Fantasy Art Creator And Maker (Still Making) by Laura Russell

Actually, I probably won't finish this. Basically, it's a good example of one of the many pieces I don't complete. I just grew cold to it - that numbness that can settle in when the picture reaches one of its' many, many, fragile periods; when it's prone to emotional blindness. It was based on the idea of a creator and maker - which one came first and which one is the creator of the maker? Big worldly questions...

28 Sep 2005	Daevyan	Loading... Very nice picture, as the whole gallery of yours. Something to admire, really... So delicate, and emotional...love the colour accents. I have a question for you however, hope you'll answer. How do you exactly do such a backgroud, what is the technique? Please please answer Laura Russell replies: "I'm not very good at explaining what exactly I do and how I draw, but (and this is very simply put); I use layers upon layers of a 2H / H pencil and slowly patterns emerge which I take emphasize."
