| 12 Dec 2006 | Imola L. Saraine aka Mio | Loading...You have a gift in your fingers. And seeing your drawings was a gift to me. I am not good in English terminology, but the way you lead your pen(cil) on paper (lineleading in my language) is what I love the most in drawings, it is very vivid, living, emotional, touching, and true in its own twistedness. This style (always unique and never reproduceable) is dear to my heart. Asymmetry (it was pointed out before) is another of my favourite. I too love seeing the beauty in non-perfect things. They are more real, more understandable. You used the word boring for one of your picture. Although the theme determines a lot, the improvisative nature of the style will always hold something in it that will keep us watch it for quite a while. | |

| 28 Dec 2006 | Anonymous | Loading...Your stuff definitely looks like Stephanie Pui-Min Law's work. I do not know if you are trying to copy her work and saying that it is your own, because it is not. There are too many similarities and she has done her style more than you have. You need to create your own work. Her style is so unique and distinctive that when you do it people are like, "What the heck? That is Stephanie's work." Find your own style and stop taking credit for something that you did not come up with. Laura Russell replies: "I have never at any stage copied her work. If I had, I would not have a gallery at Epilogue.net where she is a moderator." | |
