"First to Fight, Last to Fall" by MK Douma

So, I is in the middle of a chemistry class (it has an almost instantanious narcotic effect on my brain) and I started to draw a navel. Then some hips. Then some legs. And SUDDENLY, WITHOUT WARNING, I had drawn this kind of 'skanky template'. So I fill it up with all this awesomesauce armour n' crap :3
I really, really, really like how the pose, lineart, and colouring came out-- though I origonally had to edit out a pair of wings and print out a new copy to colour, I still feel very sucessful :D
Blood didn't come out super-awesome because the silver on the blade kinda sucked it up-- ah, well.

And I screwed up on the face, too-- but thats when I follwed my favorite rule: WHEN IN DOUBT, COVER WITH HAIR. It works for me, anyways XD

I decided to make her black because nobody draws african/americans much-- anyways, I think that africans are more interesting to colour then us pasty white people >.>
