This looks very much like Monet's "Olympia", omly flipped round.
Just a thought.

Amazing pic and I love the background. A few thing wrong, though: One is that the feet are oddly proportioned. They almost look more like fins. Another is the folds in the skirt. They should be slanted downward because gravity pulls them down. Also, the top of her skirt would conform to the shape of her legs instead of just a straight line. Unless her legs are a straigh line
. Great color choice. The cat is a nice touch. I can never get cats right. *grrr* You've done it well though.

I absolutely love this picture!!! I'm not an artist but I am a fan of ancient Egypt. THe outfit is perfectly period and the cat looks amazing. If the cat's feet and face had white on them they would look like my neighbor's old kitty.

It’s Cleopatra! Sorry, she’s really the only Egyptian female I know about. You say she’s waiting for a guy, but it looks like she could be saying "fetch me some water, slave."

Sh eis extremely pretty and I love th eway you composed this piece of work and the way you have captured her facial expressions, besides oil paint is not easy to use so congratulations on that too! I love it.
