| 25 May 2003 | Meagan Theresa Margaret 'Moggie' Jones | Loading...Me too, I like the hands, oh and I like the tail especially! ..For some reason, I can imagine a picture or character like this in one of Tim Burton's works ::winks:: thats a good thing in my opinion. Like ya work! ::grins:: Sarah Benita Vernon replies: "Wow, really? Tim Burton? That is such a compliment, I LOVE his films. There's actually a coloured version of this going through the Mods at the moment, should be up in a week or so. Thanks so much for the comment! You've cheered up my day immensely. " | |

| 22 Jul 2003 | Jennifer Anne Bragg | Loading...I like the color. I didn't see the non-colored version but the soft tones and movement in this peice is really nice. I'd like to know what it is she's holding, though. I agree that this does look kinda like Tim Burton's style. Except for the colors, I think he likes the more muted darker colors. butthen, you're not trying to copy him! Great job! Sarah Benita Vernon replies: "I think if I made her in shades of grey and purple she'd be very Tim Burton... it's odd though, I didn't think of him at all when I drew this. But I do love Tim Burton, so it's not that surprising that he's influenced me! She's holding an egg, the description should now cover that... in it is her child, who will bring about destruction. Borrowed a bit from the Kraken there..." | |
| 11 Sep 2003 | Miriam F. Loomis | Loading...Ooo, this was posted on my birthday! ^^ Anyways, I like this very much, aside from the fact that it's in green! I love how you added the scale details and her hair is very different. I love the tail too, good in proportion with her body. Great job. Sarah Benita Vernon replies: "Heh, happy belated birthday! I actually don't like green either really, but I thought she would blend in with the ocean better if she was a greeny-blue... she actually came out looking a lot brighter than I meant her to. Thanks for your comment, the scales took aaaages! " | |
