"The Anti-Cupid" by Sarah Benita Vernon

Guess what? I loathe Valentines'. I think it's a blatant display of commercialism, solely designed to make those in relationships fork out money and go through unnecessary stress trying to find a suitable gift and card, which inevitably is unsuitable and causes a whole heap of problems and arguments. Maybe even breakups. And the single people? Well, it just makes them depressed about being single. So, in short, Valentines' Day causes depression and arguments.

My scanner ruined this picture. Again. Had to do a lot of damage control on Photoshop, but originally it was done with watercolour pencils (although in order to make the colour more solid, I didn't use water for most of it), as most of my drawings are. Anyway, I think you get the gist. Gothic Angel - kind of an anti-Cupid. Which is apt, as last year I did a twisted, commercialised Cupid. But, anyway, it's kind of sweet. Angel, holding a heart. Ahhh.

What do you mean, real, bloody hearts aren't sweet? *sulks*
