Most of you probably don't know what this is... Oh, well. This is my depiction of a thestral, one of the invisible winged horses from Harry Potter 5. You can only see them if you have watched someone die, and us Potter fans all know Harry saw Cedric murdered in book 4. Ya know the carriges that pull themselves? The ones that go up to the castle? Well, it turns out that these 'Thestrals' Have always been pulling them. Spooky, eh?

Still want one.. though now I've changed my mind about riding it to work (or anywhere else, as were part of my "Thestral owner fantasy plans"). Aoch! Riding those backs must hurt like hell! Hopefully Harry and Company did sit in front of the wings or something. (But I still love this piece)!
