There’s no particular story behind the picture - I decided to paint it after walking around the old district of my town where I found an old tenement house. Like, very old house. It was a small inn about a century ago. And one of the dwellers invited me inside to look at the patio and old sculptures in the corridors (just like an old witch would lure a traveller into her house). 1 Well, it was creepy but strangely inspiring. 1"
