| 2 Apr 2010 | Anne Wipf | Loading...Your last uploadings cause to me the following thought: I don’t know precisely why, but your artwork looks typically Russian, as well in the concept as in the style. (I didn’t notice before that there was a Russian style ) Christine 'The One' Leonova replies: "Oh I hope that’s not a bad thing! Well, I am Russian... Maybe this "style" has something to do with national mentality)))" | |
| 3 Apr 2010 | Anne Wipf | Loading...Of course, it is not a bad thing I meant there is something like a "Russian touch" as well as we can see an "Asian touch" in the artwork of many Asian people. Perhaps Russians are more melancholy than other people. Due to the climate? I think that long and hard winters favour melancholy? Christine 'The One' Leonova replies: "Haha, maybe that’s the reason)) I live in the south of the country, here winters are disgustingly grey, mild and often snowless. That really makes me melancholic. " | |

And you are the first person I have encountered her on Elfwood from Russia! I was really excited because I’m studying to be a Russian Studies major!
Anyway, awesome artwork! | |
